Division Overview:
The Atlantic City Special Improvement District's Safety and Hospitality Ambassadors are responsible for providing a visible uniformed presence within the boundaries of the district. They serve as goodwill Ambassadors and act as a reporting mechanism for various safety concerns for the Boardwalk and downtown issues.

The highly trained Ambassadors are certified Bicycle riders, CPR, First Aid and AED. On each shift, a supervisor is equipped with an AED unit on their bikes along with a mini oxygen tank and First Aid kit. The Ambassador program Hospitality training classes, affords them the latest information on Casino's, Hotels, Restaurants, Shows and Shopping areas, information they provide to the visitors of Atlantic City.

The Safety and Hospitality Ambassadors are instrumental in providing information and directions and providing escorts for the visiting public. The Ambassadors assist various agencies in communicating criminal activity within the district. The program focuses on "Quality of Life issues, involving aggressive panhandling, public intoxication, open air drug market sales. They serve as additional eyes and ears for the law enforcement community."

The Bicycle Ambassadors are a key element in the preservation and expansion of the Atlantic City tourist base. Our friendly and professionally trained Ambassadors contribute to a Safer, Friendlier environment in the district and serve as a public relations force for the entire city.
